What's New For 2023

The Lamborghini Urus has received some updates for the 2023 model year, but the biggest update is certainly the announcement of the Performante model. It gains 16 horsepower over any 2022 model, drops some weight, and rides on a bespoke, track-tuned suspension. Revised aerodynamics in the front and rear of the super SUV leaves no question that it's a newer and more aggressive model. Standard 22-inch wheels with sticky performance tires send a clear signal to onlookers that this is no ordinary Urus.

Track-Driven Performance

What you can expect from the new Lamborghini Urus Perfromante is all in its name: Performance. It is fast, with more horsepower than previous Urus models. It features steel springs versus air springs to increase agility and handling. Drivers can expect great things from their new Lamborghini Urus Perfromante when they customize it with the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires and 23-inch wheels.

Churning out a pavement-punishing 657 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, the 2023 Urus Performante is capable of 0-60 sprints in 3.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190 mph. A 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 delivers dramatic performance, revving to nearly 7,000 rpm and paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.

But record-shattering speed requires significant braking capabilities - that's why the Urus Performante receives massive ten-piston, 17-inch front brakes. Carbon ceramic brake discs at all four corners help to ensure a reliable and progressive brake feel even after a demanding day at the track. Lightweight forged 22-inch wheels with titanium bolts provide decreased rotational mass, and special semi-slick Pirelli P-Zero tires grip the road with gusto and aplomb.

Exterior

Dizzying performance is nothing without a head-turning design, and Lamborghini has set a new bar with the Urus Performante. A new front bumper design brings aggressive front air intakes, feeding cool air to the 4.0-liter V8 under the hood. It also has aerodynamic and brake cooling benefits: an air curtain directs more fresh air to the front wheels, keeping the brakes cool.

The hood is constructed out of carbon fiber, serving to save weight and increase performance, but it also delivers quite the aesthetic tour-de-force. The rear end of the Urus Performante receives a carbon-fiber rear bumper and diffuser, as well as a bespoke rear spoiler that generates up to 38 percent more downforce than the standard one. It also sits 16 millimeters lower on a 23-millimeter wider track, courtesy of special track-focused suspension components. Due to these changes, the Urus Performante is more stable at high speeds and quicker to stop than any other Urus before.

The addition of a lightweight titanium sports exhaust enhances the soundtrack of the new Urus Performante. Not only does the Urus Performante look unlike any other Urus before it, but the chorus of a twin-turbocharged Lamborghini V8 has never sounded better.

Interior

The new Lamborghini Urus Performante welcomes new drivers to get comfortable atop high-end faux-suede seating surrounded by attractive dark carbon fiber finishes.
